This pair of Wide Angle 8 X 40 binoculars from Alpen are full size, not the little pocket sized cheapies you usually find for this low price.
Over the years I ve bought several pair of inexpensive binoculars and although they did help somewhat, I was never really pleased with any of them. And since I have 5 kids, I really didn t want to sink a lot of money into a really good pair. Well, I m very pleased with these!
They have great light, focus easily, and a large field of view. Yes, I can actually tell that I m using binoculars when I m looking through these! LOL! If you ve had cheapie binoculars before you know what I m talking about - 1st you look through the binoculars, then you look with your eyes, then you look through the binoculars again, then you look with your eye..... And then you tell yourself Yeah, I guess they re helping some . - I ve been there!
